Kratom store in Pa. ignites controversy: ‘Don’t let this business in our town’

The Kratom controversy continues. Some say the plant-based product is great for muscle pain, cramps, even opioid withdrawal. Others insist it’s downright dangerous and want it banned.

Now, a new Kratom store that opened, then was quickly shut down, is dividing a Delaware County community, as 6ABC in Philly reports:

The CBD Kratom and Cannabis Dispensary opened late last week in Radnor Township, then was immediately shut down over concerns of code compliance and failure to seek proper permits, 6ABC writes.

A public meeting in the township Monday boiled over with debate over the new store, with one resident telling the township commissioners, “Don’t let this business in our town,” 6ABC reports. (Additional details below)
