Kratom Man Arrested?
A man in Round Rock has been arrested under the suspected us of K2, a synthetic drug made to mimic the effects of marijuana. The drug causes extreme paranoia among other symptoms. Police arrested a young man pulling off of him what they suspected to be K2. The father of the suspect claims he has been using Kratom as an alternative to pain killers to support his back pain.
The incident, however, led to the suspect choking a nurse at the hospital he arrived at. While the officers hold firm that the man was on K2 others suspect Kratom is to blame. The father of the man tells police that his son is bi-polar and he believe that is the true reason for the assault. The suspect was arrested and has since been sent to a rehabilitation program for the use of K2.
